Michael is a specialist prosthodontist in Brisbane and has been teaching restorative courses since 1999. This course runs in three parts. The theory is online, so the day in Brisbane is spent at the bench rather than listening. 1. Webinar 1 - Monday 12 October, online via Zoom, 2 CPD points, $99 plus GST The decision path. When to crown, when to restore, and how to defend that call in your notes afterwards. It stands on its own. 2. Hands-on workshop - Saturday 24 October, ADCE, 154 Ipswich Rd, Woolloongabba, 7 CPD points, $1,450 plus GST This is the part that changes your dentistry. Preparation is a motor skill, and nobody has learned margins by listening to someone describe them. You are at a bench preparing teeth, as many preparations as you need, with Michael telling you what your hands are doing while you do it. Full arch model, burs and NSK electric handpieces are supplied, and every demonstration preparation is shown in high definition on your own monitor. Capped at 35 places. 3. Webinar 2 - Monday 2 November, online via Zoom, 2 CPD points, $99 plus GST The delivery part. Insertion, adjustment, cementation, and the post-operative complications you may see. All three together: 11 CPD points, $1,648 plus GST.
